I'm a West Texas photographer, creative, rancher's wife, and mama who has always been drawn to real stories, beautiful places and the people who make them meaningful.
I am based just outside of Fort Stockton, where the landscape is wide, the skies are big, the wind always blows and there's usually a horse nearby. I travel throughout Far West Texas and beyond, photographing weddings, elopements and the people and places that make them feel like their own.
The Roaming Coyote was born years ago from that love of storytelling and connection. I want to photograph the things you'll remember years from now, including the moment's you didn't realize were happening at the time.
My work is influenced by the West Texas landscape and the way I experience it: warm and honest. I've always loved the feelings of old Italian photographs. The one's that are grainy black and white, imperfect frames, cinematic light and images that feel like you could step into. I pull that same feeling into the way I approach capturing your story.
I am drawn to natural light, movement, good composition, genuine connection and all the little things that make the story yours! My editing leans warm and true to life, with a subtle film-inspired feel.
I feel incredibly lucky to tell other people's stories for a living. To step into someone's world for a day, witness the people they love and turn those fleeting moments into something they can keep forever... that's the part of this work I never take for granted.
I feel incredibly blessed to use my creativity to preserve moments that get to be cherished for years to come.
