Terlingua Elopement Photographer
TERLINGUA ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Short, simple and sweet. That was how this Terlingua elopement played out. These two were laid back but full of love for one another. With the most intimate and thoughtful vows I have ever heard! It was so easy to be eagerly happy for these two with the amount of love and passion they brought to the table. Although, it was short and very simple, these two brought all the good energy and love into the room. I mean, isn’t that what eloping is about anyway?
Romance is alive and these two are living it!
How I Photographed It
There is no way around it, I love a 24 mm lens and for this little chapel, it did just the job for capturing the room and this beautiful couple. When I photograph an elopement, my main goal is to document the connection of the couple and my second goal is to incorporate as much of the venue into the images as possible. This is more than the photos for me. This is properly telling the story so that the day comes alive all over again when the photos are viewed. This Terlingua elopement was photographed with an empathetic eye and eagerness to cultivate emotion.
About the Ghost Town Terlingua Chapel
St. Agnes Church in Terlingua, TX is also known as the Chisos Mission. According to Explore Texas (a blog), the church was established sometime in 1914 and became the center of the once upon a time mining town, Terlingua.
